Just found out Sisters of Mercy are coming to Atlanta. I am so going.
Dammit, I missed Bauhaus and I am not missing this concert, too. Old school? Yes. But I am a music whore and I just gotta get my fix!!!!
In related news, I am in contact again with a very close friend that I lost touch with several years ago. This could be a very bad thing for my bank account if I allow myself to succumb to collecting again. It is a very bad addiction that was hard to give up in the first place, so I do not know if I will be able to fight the demons back again. LOL The good news is that he seems to have gone down a musical path thet I do not know if I am interested in enough to follow. But then again, he can be very persuasive. If not for him, I would never have ventured into Industrial willingly. Now look at me...I can not get enough.

Breakbeat of all things. I do not even know 90% of the bands he listens to now and I used to know them all. It's so odd, and YES I am thankful for the intro to industrial as I really do owe a lot to him for my musical tastes...
OMG, I would SO buy you a ticket, too. It is the weekend before NIN. I wish you could tell work to shove it, move down and spend the week with me partying and concert going. But alas, I guess we have to grow up sometime. To hell with that idea...I like being immature if it means more fun and not growing old. LOL

This band is coming to Revolution in downtown Ft. Lauderdale, is it worth the trip, I get in for free because my friend is the doorman but I don't know what type of music it is. You seem to enjoy them can you enlighten me?? They are playing with the Warlocks?? |

Very old school goth. I would be glad to burn ya a CD if ya want to hear what they sound like first. They have not been together as a band in a very long time, and I hated their last release...but there is just something about their first 2 releases that I loved. Do you like this style of music at all? Free is good!!! |
